Easy Chai Tea Latte
This homemade Chai Tea Latte is incredibly simple to make at home. It’s warming, the perfect level of sweet, and you probably have all the ingredients in your cupboard already.
Ingredients
¼ cup filtered water
1 chai tea bag (Any brand will work, caffeinated or decaf.)
2 teaspoons (8g) granulated sugar (I call for granulated sugar in the recipe, but you can also use brown sugar or your favorite artificial sweetener.)
¾ cup milk any percentage (By default, Chai recipes use 2% milk preferred, but you can use any milk you’d like including non-dairy milks. The higher fat your milk, the creamier your drink will be.)
Cinnamon optional for topping
How to Make a Chai Tea Latte
In a small pot, bring water to a boil. Pour into an 8-ounce mug and steep tea bag for 5 minutes. Remove and discard tea bag. Stir in sugar. (To make a chai latte, you’ll make a quick chai concentrate, in this case, a very strongly brewed 1/4 cup of tea with sugar.)
Next, foam milk on the stove: While your tea steeps, pour milk into the pot and heat over medium heat until milk begins to steam (do not bring to a boil) whisk vigorously until foamy or use a handheld milk frother to froth milk.
Pour most of the milk into the tea concentrate, stirring to combine before adding in the last of the milk and foam, sprinkle with cinnamon if desired. Serve and enjoy!
That’s it. Super easy, super quick, super good. Happy Fall Y’all!
Recipe Notes
If you make a lot of lattes at home and enjoy really foamy milk, I recommend purchasing a handheld milk frother. They are pretty inexpensive (typically $10-$20), work well, and are just fun to use.
If you typically prefer your coffee drinks less sweet, start with 1 teaspoon sugar and add more to taste.
This recipe makes a 1-cup (8-ounce) latte. If you want to fill an oversized cup, 1½ or double the recipe.
Bride’s Last Disco | Bachelorette Party
Are you looking for an adorable bachelorette party theme that screams “We came to BOOGIE” Then we have one of the coolest themes for you. Disco Fever Bachelorette, Space Cowgirl-Themed Bachelorette - Whatever you decide to call it is completely groovy! Provide your crew with cowgirl hats and fringe accessories, and ask them to don cute space buns hairstyles and metallic outfits. Stock up on disco balls big and small, bell-bottom jeans, groovy patterns and blown-out hairstyles. You'll have so much fun celebrating the bride's final disco.
With the 1970s a solid half-century behind us, 70s music, fashion, and food are officially retro. And retro is always in, right? So if you’re looking for a trendy party theme in 2022, look no further!
A 70s theme gives you so much to work with. Whether you want to go full-on disco and make your guests feel like they’re stepping into Studio 54 or you want to go with a slightly more restrained cocktail party or dinner party with whimsical party food, bell bottoms, and mood rings, this bachelorette theme has it all!
Keep reading for tips to throw a killer disco themed bachelorette!
Invitations:
Every party needs an invitation to let guests know about a celebration. Let your girls know exactly what type of party they're in for with adorable custom bachelorette invites.
Decorations:
Decorations for this theme are really glamorous. Hello, glitz and glam! This theme is all about being as extra as you like. Here’s exactly what you’ll need for décor: disco balls , silver balloons, glitter confetti or sequins, and tinsel foil fringe. Disco ball cups and a polaroid camera elevate the funkiness.
The Outfit:
You might be thinking what do I wear? Go for a retro bride look; wide-leg jumpsuit styled with white booties and heart shaped sunglasses. For guests who don’t necessarily want to shop for a party look, they'll probably have something in their closet that will already work. For example, a wrap dress works perfectly as a way to commemorate Diane von Furstenberg's debuting her iconic wrap dress in 1974. Amazon has a nice selection, but you can also find costumes other places online. If you're willing to spend a little extra money and get a truly unique costume, go to a vintage boutique or consignment shop in your area and ask specifically for '70s disco outfits. You'll be surprised how many options they'll give you.
Menu:
You have a lot of room to be creative with your disco-themed party menu. 1970s food has become pretty notorious. But for what it lacks in nutritional value and flavor profile, it easily makes up for in fun. 1970s food is party food and snack food. You can go super easy and cheap or you can get really elaborate and spend a lot of time and money developing the perfect disco menu. The choice is yours, but here are some ideas to get you started.
Easy, cheap menu items (think roller skating rink):
hot dogs with cheesy fries
nachos
hamburgers
kraut dogs
macaroni and cheese
casseroles of various kinds
Jell-O molds
potato salad
Cocktails:
Old Fashioned
Strawberry Daiquiri
Jell-O shots

Sunny hues come together in a way that is down to earth and easy to incorporate for any event. Perfect for a graduation party!
Summer is almost here! Which means all the backyard BBQs, pool parties and block parties galore! The “School’s Out for Summer” party is the pinnacle of summer and your party is guaranteed to be a blast. Stock up on sparklers, cool treats and party snacks for a summer party no one will forget. Whether it’s a pool birthday party, the Fourth of July, or just an excuse to get family and friends together, pool parties are a perfect excuse for lots of fun in the sun. Here are some tips for throwing an epic pool party this summer:
Whether you are sending invitations to your pool party in electronic or paper format, make sure they are festive and attention-grabbing. The whole idea is for you to create invites that entice people to want to come to your pool party.
Part of making certain that your pool party is totally epic is to go crazy with the decorations. Go all out by decorating with tiki torches, colorful lights, and palm trees. The whole idea is for you to create a vibrant atmosphere and turn your yard into an oasis.
Regardless if you ask your guests to bring their own towel or not, it’s a good idea to have a towel station. People will be in and out of the pool and will want to be able to dry off -- especially if they need to go inside. Stock up on cozy towels and put them somewhere where everyone can see them.
To guarantee that your pool party is epic and that your guests have a wonderful experience, it is important that you provide a wide variety of amenities. Have a designated space set aside for people who want to change into dry clothes since some may not want to remain in wet clothes the entire time. Make sure there are comfortable lounging chairs so your guests can relax, and set up umbrellas for those who want to remain in the shade. Additionally, have sunscreen on hand for guests who forget to bring their own, and make sure bug spray is available so your guests can avoid being bothered by pests.
Since parties are relaxed, don’t worry about hosting an elegant dinner party. Instead, fire up the barbie and treat your friends to a BBQ. Not only are hot dogs and burgers easy and inexpensive, but they are guaranteed crowd-pleasers.
Serving fun drinks is a fantastic way to ensure that your guests remain hydrated and have a pleasant time. You can offer pop, electrolyte drinks, different flavored juices, and bottles of water. You can also offer alcoholic beverages. If you really want to go big, you can set up a tiki bar stocked full of supplies to make a wide array of cocktails. You can keep drinks in coolers packed with ice in lounging areas, and you can stock floating coolers for those who do not want to get out of the pool to get refreshments.
Pool parties are no fun when pool floats are lacking. To enable your guests to float on the water and relax in the sun, you must offer an assortment of pool floats. To make your pool party unforgettable, you need pool floats that are fun and appealing. Depending on your party theme you can fill your pool with customized pool floaties. If you have a unique theme for your pool party, wholesale floaties might not satisfy your need and will limit your creativity.
To thank your friends for coming, consider putting together a little goodie bag for them to take home. While it’s not required by any means, this extra step means a lot to your guests, and it doesn’t have to be anything crazy. One idea is to make simple candy packs -- you can fill them with Swedish Fish, Life Savers, and other beach-inspired tasty treats. For extra fun, place these goodie bags in a toy sand bucket with a shovel, over-sized sunglasses, bubbles, magnetic sand, etc. Since people are generally happy simply to receive a surprise, you don’t have to spend a huge fortune on extravagant gifts -- it’s the thought that counts the most!
Summer is finally here, and it’s time to make the most of the best months!

You can also consider beach camping where you can rent dune buggies and race across the sand. In addition to (or instead of), you could give him a customized stainless steel mug to keep his coffee warm or snag a new tent or cot so he can camp in comfort.
👉 Try a New Restaurant
If your father is a foodie, plan on taking him to a new restaurant. You can visit the newest spot in town or try a different type of food that he’s never had before. If you don’t want to go out to a restaurant on Father’s Day itself, celebrate the week before or consider making food at home. You can pick a recipe from an up-and-coming chef or something from a food show you watched recently. Grab the ingredients and spend an evening cooking up a feast.
👉 Get Comfy and Hang Out
Looking for mellow Father’s Day activities? Consider staying in and just hanging out with the best dad ever. You can spend the day watching his favorite sports team or simply lounging in the backyard enjoying the afternoon sun. For a Father’s Day gift idea to match this activity, snag him some comfy pajamas, a soft shirt, or a sports gift set.
👉Plan a Movie Marathon Night
Family movie nights are always the best way to end the day. Filled with popcorn, snacks, laughter, and spending quality time as a family. Movie marathons are always a great option.
Whatever way you choose to spoil dad this Father’s Day, he’ll always remember how you took the time to shower him with love and gifts on his special day.
Wedding QR Codes
There are endless possibilities you can make with this technology to connect your guests to online information, that displays the information to their smartphone screens when the QR code is scanned. QR codes printed on wedding invitations are an excellent way to power up your traditional wedding cards to a more advanced, high-tech, and interactive version using the QR code technology! A QR Code will not only make your wedding invitation hi-tech but also make many things easier for your guests on your big day.
Things like sharing a Google Maps location of the venue with guests: This is probably the most popular use case of adding a QR Code on a wedding invitation card. It allows you to share the exact Google Maps location of the venue when the QR Code is scanned. That means guests will not have to make complex interpretations to understand the route. They can simply follow the directions using the Google Maps application on their phones.
Make it easy for guests to RSVP using their smartphones: A QR Code can also help get your guests to RSVP. They can scan the QR Code and respond if they will attend the event or not. For each response, you will get an email notification. That means they will not have to send RSVP by snail-mail. As a result, the response rate will increase. After all, the easier the process, the better it is.

Christmas Elf Tradition
It's almost that time of year again. The time of year when we are filled with excitement, busyness, lots of parties and lots and lots of delicious, fattening food. It's also a time when our Elves come out to keep an eye on our kids. I've noticed over the years that the elf has two camps – those that do it begrudgingly and those that truly have fun creating elf antics in their home. For me, I love coming up with new and fun things for our elf to do. Yes, I'm the mom who printed a calendar and jotted down a few ideas so that nights wouldn't be stressful with what the heck is the elf going to do next? Even with a list of ideas, some nights it is still a pain. Sure. But lots of things in parenting can be a bit of a pain. My children's delight every morning makes it totally worth it.
I believe part of the joy of Christmas is making memories with our families. For my kids, I hope that when they look back on the Decembers that Ramone visited, they will remember how much fun they had looking for him each day. The tradition of the Christmas Elves goes back a long time and I hope when my kids become parents they will keep the tradition alive with their own kids. Do you know the history of Christmas Elves?
Elves are present in Germanic, British and Scandinavian folklore in which they are often referred as light elves (good) or dark gnome like elves (bad). In pagan times, Elves were believed to guard homes against evil. If you were good, the elves would be good to you, but if you were bad, they would play tricks on you. To keep the elves well fed, happy and out of mischief, people left a bowl of porridge on the doorstep at night.
In Iceland the Yule Lads visit homes each day to leave presents and play tricks on children between December 12 and 24. In the Netherlands, Father Christmas’s side kick is called Zwarte Piet (Black Peter), in Germany Knecht Ruprecht. In certain regions of France, Père Fouettard (the literal and rather scary translation is “Whipping Father”) accompanies Santa Claus, distributing coal to naughty children. One of the main Christmas characters in Denmark is a mischievous elf named Nisse. Christmas is a time when Nisse can have his fun. Nisse is said to live in the lofts of old farmhouses and he enjoys to play jokes.
Already associated with story telling and magic, elves began to be associated with Christmas in the mid – 1800s, when they became Santa’s helpers. Christmas celebrations were gathering popularity and Scandinavian writers penned the elves’ role as we know it today: good hearted fairy like helpers of Santa Claus that are sometimes mischievous.
Folklore tells that elves make sudden appearances in families in the run up to Christmas. They keep an eye on children, check who’s naughty and who’s nice and report their findings back to Santa. In different countries, Santa’s helpers go by different names, but the traditions retain many similarities – mainly centered around encouraging children to be on their best behavior. And I mean really what parent doesn’t want some help with that? Thank you Ramone!

Add a special touch to envelopes, goodie bags, handmade treats, and more with our classic holiday stickers. These are happy…cheerful and colorful stickers that will look amazing on all of your holiday gifts. Festive illustrations and lush greenery helps brighten moods with an elegant touch. They are great to affix to a mason jar of homemade hot chocolate mix or attach it to a special baked good…you are going to want to use them on all of your gifts.
Hot cocoa bombs are all the rage this season. They're fun, whimsical, and a surprise treat when we're seeking comforts in small places. Made from a thin shell of chocolate that easily melts when dropped in hot milk, hot chocolate bombs are stuffed with cocoa mix and other goodies (like marshmallows or peppermint pieces) to create an instant cup of everyone's favorite winter beverage. They're available for purchase from some retailers, but you can also make these tasty treats at home.
The new popular treat to make this year and just perfect to give for Christmas. Not only are they full of chocolate-y goodness, but it’s the experience of watching the outer chocolate shell melt in hot milk releasing the inner cocoa mix and marshmallows, that make them such a delight to receive.
The first thing you have to do is get a bag of chocolates. Melt the chocolate in a bowl above a small pot of hot water, and then use a spoon to dollop the melted chocolate into your molds, smoothing it around the edges until everything is covered. Set in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes, or until the chocolate is firm.
The next phase – and perhaps the most delicious – is to add the filling: you can use small or medium chocolates, marshmallows, cocoa powder, bits of broken candy cane and any other delicious ingredient - this depends on the size of your Hot Chocolate Bombs. Place your bomb in a cupcake paper or in a round cookie cutter to hold it in place as you fill it. You can fill them as much as you want and then close it with the other part of your chocolate molds. Heat up a saucepan on a medium-low heat and carefully melt the edges of the chocolate bomb so you can seal them together. Decorate the cocoa bombs in any way you like with more chocolate, icing, or sprinkles.
Once you finish them, put them in the refrigerator and after a couple of hours, they are ready to eat. Serve in a mug, pouring hot milk over the bomb and stirring until completely melted.
They are super easy to make, you can have so much fun decorating them with cute sprinkles and candy and once you pour over the hot milk you have a delicious mug of hot chocolate to enjoy filled with a fun treat like mini marshmallows! These are perfect for any occasion and make such a great gift for chocolate lovers. Whether you decorate them for the holidays, Valentine’s day, or even birthdays they are always fun.
PRO TIPS FOR MAKING THIS RECIPE
Use a clean paintbrush to brush the chocolate evenly in the molds making sure to cover all the sides.
Let the chocolate molds set in the freezer, they set really fast (about 10 minutes).
When removing the chocolate from the mold and assembling them it’s a good idea to wear gloves to avoid any fingerprints on the surface.
Instead of chocolate milk powder, you can fill these bombs with your favorite hot chocolate powder, it’s also a great way to switch up the flavor by using chocolate orange hot chocolate powder, mint chocolate, salted caramel, and more!
Use candy melts and small piping bags to decorate your chocolate bombs. Think pink and red for Valentine’s day, red, white, and green for Christmas etc.
Sprinkles, edible glitter, and chocolate chips/chunks are a great way to jazz up your cocoa bombs. Drizzle over a small amount of melted chocolate and top with sprinkles so they stick.
